A replica 75mm German-built Krupp artillery field gun on Magersfontein Hill overlooking the battlefield upon which Scottish Highland forces approached Boer forces lying in trenches below the hill on 11 December 1899. Major General Andrew Wauchope who commanded the brigade died in the battle.
