A runaway veld fire has burnt its way across the top of Boesmanspoortberg above the Karoo town of Willowmore. The plants in this area are know as 'Fynbos' which is known for its multitude of species. Burnt Protea bushes curl their branches in the morning mist. GPS = 33° 13' " South & 23° 27' " East at 1340 metres.
