Maphikela House Thomas Maphikela was one of the founder members of the ANC in Batho, Mangaung Township, Bloemfontein in 1912. His double-storey house, where important ANC meetings were held, has been declared a National Monument. Bloemfontein Freestate Photograph: John Hogg 09 August 2016.
