The Fauresmith town hall with a distinctive colonnaded domed tower in the Free State province of South Africa was built in 1930 after the earlier 19th century town hall burnt down. Fauresmith, between the diamond diggings at Jagersfontein and Koffiefontein, was named after Reverend Phillip Faure and Sir Harry Smith.
