sestertius of roman Emperor Hadrianus. Brass. Diameter 32mm. Weight 25 gr. One side shows the laureate profile of the emperor "Hadrianus Augustus", the other side shows Rome sitting, holding "Victory" and a cornucopia. "S C" means "Senatus Consulto". Found in the river Garonne near Bordeaux in 1965, from a shipwreck in 155 or 156 CE.
