As shown in the half-toneillustrations on pages 150 and 151 there has been installeda comprehensive system of automatic sprinklers withsprinkler heads spaced to cover not over 200 sq. ft. of floorarea per head. The main storage structure has aisle sprink-lers opposite the upper sash of car windows, and spaced 7ft. apart, all on the dry-pipe system. No ceiling heads are connected with a private box of the Bridgeport fire depart-ment, while an extension of the annunciator circuit of thesprinkler system gives duplicate indication in the mainoffice, as well as in the valve room.
