Dead Moles on Barbed Wire in Peak District National Park, Derbyshire

Moles, anthropomorphosised in the children's book 'Wind in The Willows' can cause much destruction in gardens and on farming land. However, these moles strung along a piece of barbed wire fencing in the Peak District of Derbyshire are unlikely to serve as a warning to other moles, since moles are extremely short sighted and rarely venture above ground during daylight hours.
