Wesleyan chapel dated 1867: attractive brick-built chapel, painted blue railings, semi-rural location isolated in fork of road with background of fields to south of village. Junction of Gaysfield Road, Cut End Road and Scalp Road, Must once have been rural before village expanded. Converted to domestic use or small office by May 2009, and the view across fields is now obscured by conifer hedge (visible as new planting in photo).
