The Sutermeister Estate, of Read- ville, has purchased a new auto truck, which proves useful in hauling the heavy shipments of bulbous stock in pans to the stores. They have a varied and ex- tensive lot of bulbs in pans, more than any other local growers. Patrick Welch is showing some blooms of the new Lilium regale. He also has anemones and primroses in several colors, irises, gardenias, and a live line of the better known florists' flowers. This week's obituary column contains notices of the deaths of A. A. Reed of Whitman, and David W. Duncan, of Arlington. Florists' Bowling League. Over twenty handsome silver cups and a number of other valuable prizes now are on exhibition at the stand of Thomas Roland in the Cooperative Flower Market. These will be awarded at the banquet to be held at the close of the bowling league contest.
