A gilt issue short police bayonet, Weimar Republic, Maker WKC, Solingen Nickeled blade (reverse lightly spotted) with double-edged tip, knight's helmet mark on the ricasso. Gold-plated hilt with oak leaf décor in relief and eagle's head pommel, on the shell-guard an eagle in relief. Staghorn grip plates with silver Weimar police emblem. Black leather scabbard with gilt fittings. Dark brown leather belt frog. Length cm. The gilding predominately well-preserved.
