SNA forces supported by AMSIOM today pushed further north from their previous forward defensive line along the industrial road to take the strategically important area of and around Mogadishu Univeristy, the very furthest northern point of the Somali capital and where the Al Qaeda-linked Al Shabaab planned and carried out attacks against the African Union mission, the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) and targets within the Somali AU-UN IST PHOTO / STUART PRICE.
