The centrum of a late posterior cervical vertebra, pro-bably referable to this species ; from Kimeridge in the accompanying woodcut. Length 0,079(3-1 inches), height 0,114 (4*5 inches), width 0,150 (5-9 136 SATJROPTERYGIA. inches). The costal facet is single and placed higher onthe centrum than in the specimen represented in fig. 41,and the terminal faces have become ellipsoidal. The edgesof the latter are bordered, there is no mammilla surroundingthe median pit, and the base of the neural canal is muchexpanded posteriorly. Presented by J. C. Mansel-Pleydell, Esq., 1888.
