The original 'Jesus's stone on the A939 Dave Moor road in Morayshire has been given a facelift in appreciation of the NHS workers.


There are many local legends about the stone but one of these concerns a retired Missionary from Africa who painted it at the turn of the last century as an expression of her faith. She lived locally though no name is given and would have walked to the stone on many occasions to paint and repaint these words 'Jesus Saves' this in the Spring of 2020 has now been changed to take account of the concerning times that everyone around the planet is facing and to acknowledge those who valiantly battle against theCorvid-19 idease pandemic.
