Taiko Konno, Tomoe Katsumata, and family, hold a private memorial service for the numerous members of their families that died in the 2011 tsunami, in the muddy plain where once stood their community of Kamaya, on the 1 year anniversary of the March 11th 2011 earthquake and tsunami, in Kamaya, Tohoku region, Japan on Sunday 11th March 2012. Konno-san lost 14 relatives in the tsunami, including her elder sister. Katsumata-san lost 4 relatives in the disaster.
