Feb- ruary or March; transplant for a succession every two weeks until June, then discontinue until the middle of August, when a good crop may be se- cured by sowing extra early and early sorts for fall use. They should be kept clean and earthed up twice during the growth. The wrinkled varieties are not as hardy as the small, round sort, and if planted early should have a dry soil or they are liable to rot in the ground. They are, however, the sweetest and best flavored varieties. The dwarf varieties are best suited for small gardens. Per mailing see Parcel Post Bates, paffe 2. One CLuart weighs aliout 2 pounds.
