A Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier assigned to Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 231, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), takes off from the Wasp-Class Amphibious Assault Ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) during deck landing qualification training, Jan. 27, 2023. Marines with VMA-231 conducted deck landing qualification training to maintain readiness in preparation for their upcoming deployment with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
