Chinese artist Ai Weiwei show of 12 bronze animal head sculptures Somerset House London


11th May 2011 Somerset House London. The opening of new work by Chinese artist Ai Weiwei of 12 bronze animal head sculptures recreating the zodiac sculptures that were removed by from the fountain of Yuanming Yuan in Beijing. The original heads were looted by British and French troops during the Second Opium War in 1860.
