DORMITORIES The rooms in North and South Colleges, arranged on thegeneral plan of a separate study and bedroom, allow achoice in suites for one, two or three students. Morris Pratt Memorial Dormitory was given by Mr. andMrs. Charles M. Pratt as a memorial to their son, whowas for a time a member of the class of 1911. The roomsare arranged on the plan of a study with two bedrooms, andsingle rooms. The building is one of the best examples of. Buildings and Equipment 97 the modern college dormitory. The construction is fireproofthroughout. There is a large and beautiful resort room onthe first floor. The rooms are arranged either as singlerooms, or in suites of a study and either one or two bedrooms. The buildings are heated with steam, and there are tiledopen fireplaces in most of the rooms. The rooms are un-furnished. The floors are hardwood, and may be left un-carpeted and used with rugs. The hallways and rooms arelighted with electricity. The prices named for room-rentinclude heat, water, and care of the rooms by janitors. A student who is occupying a dormitory room is alloweduntil the first Monday in May to engage the same for thesucceeding year. After that date, members of the Collegemay draw for choice of unengaged rooms in the followingorder: on the Tuesday following, members of the incomingSenior class; on the Thursday following, members of theincoming Junior class; and on the Friday following, mem-be
