A Mark 45 5-inch gun fires on the fo’c’sle during a live-fire exercise aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) in the Arabian Sea, Jan. 31, 2019. The Chung-Hoon is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
