The sixoutside feeds lead to tho highpressure steam chests, the highpressure cylinders and thelow pressure steam chests. The tw» middle feeds canbe used for two air pumps, orfor one pump and an inter-cepting valve or for one pumpand a mechanical stoker. A half turn of the oil con-trol valve permits of all thefeeds being started or stoppedinstantly without disturbingthe adjustment of the feedregulating valves. A quarterturn cuts oft* all but the twomiddle feeds. The new Detroit Locomo-tive Lubricators give greateroil mileage, easier control andbetter lubrication than anyother lubricators on the mar-ket.
