He leftHampton Falls for Illinois when nineteen years of age, at firstmaking his home with his uncle, M. E. Batchelder, then farm-ing for himself. After marriage they lived in Illini, 111., thenremoved to Whittier, California, where he is engaged in fruitraising. Their children were all born in California. Children: 375. Frank Harold, b.
