“I’m currently on the dean’s list and that’s pretty exciting,” Sgt. Emily Zeise said. Zeise, a human resources specialist with the 147th Human Resource Company of the Minnesota National Guard and native of Edina, Minnesota, is studying law enforcement at Inver Hills Community College and said she hopes to become a full-time police officer in her town. “The Army helped pay for my college and taught me leadership skills,” Zeise said. “And I’m glad I joined.”
