The Amber Fort is a fine example of Rajput architecture and occupies a superb location on a hillside overlooking the surrounding countryside and a lake. The Kesar Kyari Bagh is named after the rare saffron flowers once planted in the star-shaped flower beds in the gardens. A lake can be seen in the background.
