HELMAND PROVINCE, Afghanistan (July 14, 2018) – A Marine Corps advisor with Task Force Southwest observes soldiers with 2nd Kandak, 2nd Brigade, Afghan National Army 215th Corps unloading a simulated casualty off a UH-60 Black Hawk during a casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) drill at Camp Shorabak. Afghan Air Force pilots conducted their first CASEVAC training with UH-60 Black Hawks at the Regional Military Training Center during 2nd Kandak‘s culminating exercise of the operational readiness cycle.
