Two years later he bought out hispartner and continued the business under hisown name for four years. He then admittedas partners Mr. Patchen and Air. Havens, andthe firm became Hunter, Patchen & Mr. Patchen retired, the firm buying hisinterest, and the firm name became Hunter &Havens, and this connection continues suc-cessfully up to the present time. Mr. Hunterretired July i, 1906, and his son, Rowland L.,still continues the business. yearsMr. Hunter has ranked among the leadingbusiness men of the city, and perhaps none.
