Pkt. 5c, oz. 10c, J4ft>. The 15c, RADISH. One ounce will sow 100 feet of drill. For the first crop sow as early in the spring as the ground can be worked, and every two weeks throughout the sea- son, for a succession. A warm, sandy loam, made rich and light by some good strong manure, will be most -likely to afford them brittle and free from worms. Sow in drills 10 to 12 .inches apart. The winter varieties should be sown in July and August. Like the turnip they make the best growth in the. Autumn, and must be taken up before severe frost and stored away in a cool cellar, in sand, or a pit where they will keep tender and crisp ail winter. New-Radish Triumph. This novelty is the most at- tractive! in appearance of the many beautiful va- rieties; of this popular class of vegetables. The roots are round with small top: the color is unique; white splashed and striped with bright scarlet. In our trial grounds the past season we found them nearly all true to description, there being very few of solid color. It is one of the earliest, is crisp, tender and of mild flavor; is ex- ceptionally good for cultivation under glass and does well in the open ground. The color, when used either alone or bunched with other sorts, gives it a very striking appearance in the market as well as on the table. Pkt. 10c, oz. 30c. TR
