An old sketch of the Bull and Mouth (centre) and the Albion in Leeds, UK. The Bull and Mouth was noted for its Newcastle -coaches, the most important of which were the Times coach and the Hero coach. The Times (1829-40) ran from the 29th of June, 1829, leaving the Bull and Mouth early each morning, and running by way of Harrogate, Knaresborough, Thirsk, Tontine, Yarm, Stockton, and Durham. In 1832 the route was changed and it ran via Northallerton and Darlington.
