The Basilica Cathedral of St. Bartholomew is the main place of worship of Patti, in the province of Messina, the cathedral of the Diocese of Patti, in the vicariate of Patti under the patronage of St. Bartholomew the Apostle, comprising the parishes of Patti, Gioiosa Marea, Librizzi, Montagnareale, Oliveri and San Piero Patti. The church is located next to the bishop's palace and the seminary, the main façade overlooks to the west via the Cathedral and is the largest and oldest of the churches of Patti.
