Berlin Dahlem-Dorf U-Bahn underground railway station on the U 3 line. Historic building exterior with thatched roof and tudor-style facade. Station was built in 1913 to design by the architects F. & W. Hennings. The station building has a thatched roof reminiscent of traditional northern-German farmhouses. The station was destroyed by fire in 1980 & in 2012 and the latest restoration has a synthetic thatched roof. The platform has unusual seating - Male & Female Bench design by Berlin artist Wolf van Roy.
