Kasabian during the concert at Festival Cruïlla, in Barcelona, in July 2024. Kasabian is an English rock band formed in Leicester in 1997 by Tom Meighan (lead vocalist), Sergio Pizzorno (guitarist and second vocalist), Chris Karloff (guitarist), and Chris Edwards (bassist). Drummer Ian Matthews joined in 2004. Karloff left in 2006 and founded Black Onassis. Jay Mehler joined as touring lead guitarist in 2006 but left for Beady Eye in 2013, replaced by Tim Carter, who became a full-time member in 2021. Meighan departed in July 2020, and Pizzorno became the full-time lead vocalist.
