Commemorative plaque devoted to the liberation of Prague by the Red Army on 9 May 1945 installed on the Old Town Hall (Staroměstská radnice) in the Old Town Square in Prague, Czech Republic. Text in Czech and Russian means: On 9 May 1945, the troops of the 1st Ukrainian Front of the valiant Red Army under the command of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Marshal Ivan Konev impetuous liberated Prague, which was hardly rebelling against the German invaders. In gratitude Marshal Ivan Konev was elected to be the honorary citizen of Prague.
