The veranda of this temple dedicated to them in Edo was famous as a place from which to view Mount Fuji. Note the dress and hairstyles of the merchant-class women on an outing to the temple that differ from the more ostentatious kimono and coiffeurs of courtesans, who were more frequently depicted in Ukiyo-e prints.'
