Edward of Woodstock, also knowns as Edward The Black Prince (1330-1376). Eldest son of King Edward III of England, and thus the heir to the English throne. Edward was created Earl of Chester (1333), Duke of Cornwall (1337), Prince of Wales (1343) and Prince of Aquitaine (1362-1372). Tomb of the Black Prince in the Canterbury Cathedral. Engraving.
