Portsmouth, Va. Staff and leadership of Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) are briefed by Martha Jones, Varian representative, on the TrueBeam linear accelerator’s advance unique features during an open house in NMCP’s Radiation Oncology Division. The Radiation Oncology Division debuted a new Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator during the Jan. 25 open house and held a ribbon cutting for the $ machine that is revolutionary in the way it treats cancerous and benign tumors.
