PACIFIC OCEAN (July 18, 2017) Lance Cpl. Roger Finstad, a native of Azle, Texas, assigned to the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (reinforced) aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), repairs an AH-1Z Viper attack helicopter on the ship’s flight deck . San Diego is embarked on a scheduled deployment as part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, which is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), and San Diego.
