The ruined nave of Glastonbury Abbey church seen through the arch of the Galilee Chapel. In 1278 the bodies of 'King Arthur and Queen Guinevere' were transferred to a black marble tomb before the high altar of the new church in the presence of King Edward I and Queen Eleanor. Henry VIII dismantled the abbey in 1539 after having the 60th abbot, Richard Whiting, executed on Glastonbury Tor.
