Renee Miller, 163d Aircraft, California Air National Guard, received the initial Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to protect her family and coworkers, March Air Reserve Base, California, Jan 9, 2020. Military members can receive the vaccine voluntarily and the initial doses have been prioritized to be given first to Airmen on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic response either in their military or civilian roles.
