DEL MAR, Calif. (June 14, 2018) Marine Corps veteran Chris Small poses with his personalized black-and-white surfboard prior to surfing with other patients from Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) Surf Clinic. The day also marks NMCSD Surf Clinic’s 10th anniversary celebration. The clinic is coordinated by the Health and Wellness department to rehabilitate wounded, ill and injured service members through exercise and recreational therapy to improve their level of function and mobility.
