Another very important point is its great productiveness, having six to eight large melons on a vine. This, in unison with its in- tensely brilliant red flesh, gives it a peculiarly beautiful appear- The flesh colors right up to within one-fourth inch of the skin, is melting, very juicy, and of the most exquisite flavor, not in the least sti'ingy. The melons attain good size, ripen very early, and are â of an elongated egg-shape. The skin is dark green, threaded with still <kirker green, of handsome glossy ap- pearance. It is a first-class shipper.
