Two Buff-Tip moth caterpillars found feeding on sallows on a grassy verge near a supermarket in North Dorset. In large numbers they can defoliate trees. Photographed on sallow leaves in a studio on a white background before being released. The adult Buff-Tip moth has excellent camouflage and resembles a snapped twig.
