An Austro-Hungarian high-ranking captains hat and sash, 1916 – 1918 Bicorn for a captain in general staff, black silk felt with patterned gold lace trim, in the roses at the hat ends the cypher "FJ1". Green plume, in the white lining the maker's designation "A. ZACH HERMANNSTADT". With yellow silk officer's sash, on the tassel boss the cypher "FJ1". The whole ensemble within a leather covered hatbox lined in pink silk with drawer and matching key. Both side straps incomplete.
