Of that number only one hundred and twelvereached Soph., at which time we were joined by twelveothers who seemed anxious for a place in the struggle. Ninety of our classmates returned to College to under-take the work of Junior, and this time we were joined byfive unfortunates from the Class of 02; many of thisnumber fell beneath the burdens of Analytics, Calculus andvarious other branches of study, which they were calledupon to bear. At last we became the Seniors of 03, sixty-two innum
