This is a metastasis, a tumour resulting from the spread of carcinoma (cancer) from the primary site, in this case the kidney. Radical surgery to remove the kidney and affected lymph nodes may be performed, in conjunction with chemotherapy. However, at this stage of cancer development the prognosis is generally poor.
