Rooftop structure of No 6 Bevis Marks office building in The City of London, UK
Construction has started on Fletcher Priest’s 6 Bevis Marks office scheme more than two years after it won planning permission The 21,370m² scheme replaces ‘an outdated 1980’s office that over-sailed the pavement to form a dark colonnade’ and features a 930m² private roof terrace with an ETFE-clad structure. Backed by AXA Real Estate, MGPA , EUROHYPO and CORE, the 16-storey office building next to Foster + Partners’ Gherkin is expected to complete next year (2013).
