Interior of Nuclear Decontamination Suite at the now disused RAF Greenham Common which used to hold 96 Ground Launch Cruise Missiles during the Cold War. The base closed in 1992. The Nuclear Decontamination Suite was used to clean service personnel who were exposed to radiation of fall out whilst servicinng the warheads or in the event of Nuclear War as the suite was hosed in a bomb proof bunker with a series of chambers leading to outside. Picture shows the hooks and slides for dirty clothes removal.
