Kuthodaw pagoda in Mandalay

This particular pagoda is considered the largest book in the world. In fact, around the pagoda there are 729 kyauksa or cellars with stone inscriptions, each containing a marble slab engraved on both sides with a text page of the Tripitaka, the entire Pali Canon of Theravada Buddhism.
