One of the two bronze statues of goats, rams outside the "Hall of the Three Purities" which is one of the major halls on the Qingyang Taoist temple site. The figure behind is The "Heavenly Lord of the Numinous Treasure" in the Highest Clarity Realm. Founded in the 9th century AD, Qingyang is a major centre of Taoism and of pilgrimage related to its founder Laozi who is said to have been recognised in re-incarnation as a boy leading goats through a market in Chengdu. The name Qingyang means green goat.
