Bristol, UK. 09th Mar, 2016. A 48 hour strike of junior doctors began at 8am today. At the Bristol Royal Infirmary, strike supporters braved rain and strong winds on the picket line. Prianka Padmanatham (pictured), a 2nd year junior doctor said that support amongst her colleagues was solid and though sad for the affect on patients, she said the action was for the long term benefit of the NHS.
