Prepared by percolating ninety grams (or 3 ounces) hyoscyamusseed, in No. 40 powder, with diluted alcohol to obtain six hundred cubiccentimeters (20 fluidounces) tincture. ? Dose.—One to three cubic centimeters (15 to 45 minims). Hypophosphites. Hypophosphites. The compound preparations of the hypophosphites of calcium,sodium, potassium, and iron are extensively employed for medicinalpurposes. As they do not properly belong under the title of any singleone of their ingredients, we insert these preparations here as a class.
