Ford's Hospital, Greyfriars Lane, Coventry, West Midlands, Exterior view Coventry City centre was devastated by air raids in 1940. Ford's Hospital suffered a direct hit on the 14th October, killing six residents, a nurse and the warden. Despite serious damage, the building was restored in 1953. It is now Grade I listed.
